So much to write about, nothing to say. I'm gonna try the list approach here:

1. Happy, happy to Baby J and Pin. Two of my favorite girls were born at the end of July.

2. We celebrated at Echo Lake near South Lake Tahoe. The water sparkled like glitter. Really.

3. It's really hard causing someone I love to feel pain.

4. KC died her hair bright red. Thus sayeth my dad, who now dines at her restaurant frequently. It made my heart sink.

5. It's two hair colors and a year since I saw KC. Can you believe that? I can't.

6. I dream about her almost nightly. And she's always kind.

7. I'm crushing on a girl.

8. Being back in therapy is causing me to overanalyze everything about said crush girl to obnoxious extremes, when really everything is just dandy and should be allowed to bloom on its own.

9. Indigo Girls show last week with my little sis. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. The seats. The venue. The set. The company. The perfectly unorchestrated arrival of crushgirl and yours truly. Being the only girls standing during Power of Two and singing our hearts out. J and I were both still high on the night the next day.

10. My sister is the best. Her birthday card from me read: "I wouldn't have missed being friends with you for anything in the world." And it's true.

11. I'm in a funk today. But fine. Really.
